Default No brake lights Need Help before dark!

ok, here's my problem:

My parking lights work, but not my brake lights. I have tested the brake light switch and that's OK. I have changed the bulbs...nothing. I have checked the fuse and that's good.

Can someone help me please? What do you think the problem is?

Does your pedal actually hit the brake light switch?

Honk your horn. If it doesn't work then you need to change the fuse under your hood.
That fuse is for both the brake light and horn.

thanks for the help, but...it still doesn't work.
I checked my fuse and that's fine. I just replaced the brake light switch (which the other worked perfect).

My parking lights work, but not the brake light.

Any suggestions will be appreciated!

The brake light switch works by having a button that touches the brake pedal, and when it is pressed (the brake pedal being up) the lights turn on. When you release the button (push in the brake pedal) it makes the connection, and whala, you have brake lights. If it did touch the brake pedal, his lights would always be on.

Did you check the horn test? Check to see if you have current in the wire. Use a voltage meter and test.

could be a short in the harnesses... i had a few problems with them .. once i had your proble and the other time my blinkers would work until i steped on the brake and they would go out... it was horrible but replced the harnesses and it solved my prob.... i suggest swaping a hreness with a friend and see if it works if it does go buy some.. if not hey you only wasted 5 minutes and you eliminated one possiblity
