Axle Problem?
Alright i have a 99 civic si and i heard allot of this popping sound on the passenger side when i turned the wheel, also when i would hit a groove or a bump the tire would move very easily to the right or to the left by itself.
So obviously i replaced the axle, with a brand new one. But it didnt fix the problem completely, it makes a minor popping sound still (nearly not as bad as before) and i can still feel the right tire when i hit a groove, but again not nearly as bad as before.
so could the new axle be defected?, or could there be something else wrong with it.
Thanks in advance for your help.

it could be your control arm. i had the same problem a few months ago. jack up your car on the side you have the problem on and then have someone wiggle your wheel around while you check for stuff that moves thats not really supposed to move.

I have this same problem.
I've been hearing a popping sound since I got my car over a year ago.
I changed the RLCA from oem to Skunk2, changed shocks/springs from oem to Tein Basic, changed passenger side axle with replacement oem and still the ****** sound wont go away and its beginning to get on my nerves.

finally! got it fixed, jacked up my car and turns out a screw was pretty much out of its place in the camber kit. (for those who say they have this problem)
took it to get aligned under warranty, they put some stronger holding screws and now my car handles liks a champ again.
