prothane motor mount inserts
has anyone used these inserts? what is ya'll experience with them. ride comfort reliability etc.
I got a set in the mail today, and they seems lke solid plastic mounts, no flex at all.

When I had the opportunity to compare Prothane to ES about 5 years ago, I liked the Prothane better (less squeaking and distortion). But that's probably not relevant now that ES offers the black graphite impregnated bushings.

Before you install the inserts grease them up and that should prevent the squeek that you might get.
Your interior vibration will be increased if you do decide to install the rear mount. Be prepared to remove after a month or two, most do not like the inside of the car shaking so much.

I have the Avid lower torque mounts installed right now and its like driving a armored personnel carrier, I can't imagine what its gonna feel like with a complete solid motor mount kit.
