When I had the opportunity to compare Prothane to ES about 5 years ago, I liked the Prothane better (less squeaking and distortion). But that's probably not relevant now that ES offers the black graphite impregnated bushings.

Prothane has a very limited catalog compared to ES.

The prothanes are a lot stiffer than the ES ones. The ES seem more flexy. I just did all my inserts last week. Good upgrade.

the parts provided with prothane seems a lot better than energy, I used enery before and tore them.
prothane actually replaces the factory rubber.

Before you install the inserts grease them up and that should prevent the squeek that you might get.

Your interior vibration will be increased if you do decide to install the rear mount. Be prepared to remove after a month or two, most do not like the inside of the car shaking so much.

I have the Avid lower torque mounts installed right now and its like driving a armored personnel carrier, I can't imagine what its gonna feel like with a complete solid motor mount kit.

what if I glue them in using that 3M window weld silicone, would that be better than greasing them up?
