LS wiring need help...
I got a 2000 LS motor which came with a OBD2b(P75) ecu, tranny, shift linkage and no harness. The motor is going into my 1994 civic hatchback si. Some advises which was given to me was that I should change over to a OBD1 and get a 94-95 LS harness for the motor, but the question that I didn't get was if I used a 94-95 harness to run a OBD1 ecu, what should I do with the extra sensor on my motor? I've checked out Boomslang and talk to one of the guy there but didn't really get a good detail instructions from them on how to rewire the motor. Hope that someone here can help me out.. Thanks a lot guys...
Use your stock Civic harness on the LS. The only problem your gonna have is the dizzy plug won't click up because the OBD2's are different. You can either source an OBD2 dizzy plug from someone or cut an OBD1 dizzy plug off that'll click up to your OBD1 harness (gonna have to sacrifice a dizzy though). Everything else will click up....you just may need to lengthen here and there a tad. Since your stock Civic harness is vtec, just leave the vtec wiring in for later if you go ls/vtec, or chop it off if your not.
All the unused sensors on the LS (crank fluctuation by the oil pump, extra O2 sensor b/c OBD2 has 2), just leave them be. The OBD1 ecu ain't lookin for it, so don't worry about it. All this will get ran on an OBD1 LS ecu, or a chipped OBD1 ecu of your choice with LS maps.

I've tired my civic hardness but the problem is that the plug for the alternator doesn't plug up also with the fuel line... I've check auto parts store for the plugs but couldn't get it anywhere.. I've also swap my hatch alternator but didn't fit.. as for now I'm stuck..
Oh yeah...forgot about the alternator. Well, like I said....ideally to do the harness you should start with your stock harness, plus the harness from the motor your putting in.
I THINK I may have a spare OBD2 harness lying around. Post a pic of the alternator configuration you need and I can sift through some spare harnesses. I could check Helm's I suppose now that I think of it. I'll let you know later tonight.

Thanks a lot.. I'll get those pixs of the alternator posted. I was wondering if I used a OBD2 hardness can I use the ecu that it came with the motor which is a OBD2 P75 ecu? Thanks again..
