Default LS wiring

im sure this has been asked before, but i did a search and couldnt find anything, probably wasnt looking in the right places.. If this has already been answered, if someone can direct me to the post i would appreciate it.

Im thinking about a LS swap (94-95)into my 92 civic 4 door-
will the LS wiring harness from an OBD1 car plug into my civ chassis harness, or am i going to have to use my d series harness on the b series motor?

ive also heard alternating stories on wether all of the mounts fit, and the rods in the shift linkage being fabricated, so if someone can set me straight on that as well it would be appreciated. I would like to get the GSR tranny as well.
thanks

I have heard you can use your stock d series harness on the LS motor, but I just used the integra one. Both the obd1 and obd2 harnesses plug in like stock. Just make sure you get the right harness for the right motor. If you get a 94-95 motor, use the obd1 harness and ecu. If you want a little newer motor (96-up), use the obd2 harness, but still use an obd1 computer. This is what I chose to do.
As far as mounts go, I can not for the life of me, remember what I did for the top two mounts , but the lower mounts you want to use all integra mounting brackets, but you can keep all your civic rubber mounts. If you want to keep your ac, use a del sol dohc ac mounting bracket.
For shift linkage, just use stock integra linkage. No modifications need to be done, it will bolt up just like stock. A word of advice, use the integra shifter also. It feels 100 times better than the civic one.
I have a gsr tranny as well.

Just make sure you have all the parts before you start the swap and you should be alright. If you run into any problems just call Modern Garage at (801)626-4605 and ask for Zach. If Im not there, tell them I told you to call. They can answer any of you Q's.
Good luck.

Just plug it in bro!!!! I was all worried about wiring too. for no reason really! I used the ls harness and pluged it into my civic and pluged up the ecu and it started up first try, did even gat any codes! Just mkae sure that you have the OBD ecu that your car is (exp. OBD1 car = OBD1 ecu) and you "shouldn't have any problems! Good luck.
