Default high Z vs low Z: how important is the resistance of the injectors?

I need high impedance injectors for my car. Unfortunately, the set I just bought are low impedance. I'm going to put in resistors into the legs of the injector plugs.

Now, the stockers are 13.6 ohms, the ones I have now are 1.9 ohms. The easiest way to do this would be to do a 10 ohm and a 1 ohm resistor in there and call it a day ... hoping that 12.9 ohms would be good enough On the other hand, if I do a combination of 10's, 5's, and 1's, I can get it to just under 13.7 ohms.

Should I even sweat getting it to 13.6ish or would 12.9 be alright?

Thanks for the help

you will be ok with just the 10 ohm ones for 11.9 total.

You may know this, but if you are going to use single resistors instead of a factory resistor box from a different car, you probably want to go with the 10watt ones, rather than 1/4 watt ones for ex.

As in more like these:

and not these:

They have them (the first ones) at radio shack. $1 a piece come in packs of 2.
