timing belt install help plz
hey guys...not new to the forums so i did search it and found a little of what i need.
my civic has 150k on the same belt and before going into this winter id like to replace it, along with the pump and such. i did the TB install myself on my 95 GSR and it went great. now its time for my 94 civic ex 2dr.
i bought all my stuff for my GSR off ebay and it was fine but a few people said that was a bad choice...i was thinking of getting the kit from prostreetonline.com...do you guys have a better place.
other question is DIY's. do you guys have any/ know of where i can print them out? i got my GSR from the TI site but now that im on my 1.6 SOHC im thinking it might be a little bit different.
thanks guys!

here's a DIY....its for a Del sol....but the directions are exact for your car as well

you are most likely going to have problems with the crank pulley bolt.......i used 3 different compressors and 3 different guns i borrowed from a professional shop and still couldn't get it off.........so you might have to take off the starter, stick a screwdriver through the flywheel and use a breaker bar with a 6ft pipe from loews or home depot.

i had a hard time with my GSR that had 94k on it and never saw snow...this civic being 150k deep in the hold and been through every buffalo winter known to man...im in deep shart!
i was told to stick a screw driver in the flywheel on my GSR but i had my little bro put it in 5th and jam on the brakes.
The GSR is an auto...so i can just leave it in park right?
BTW- i had a 4' pole for the GSR which was on a 18" breaker bar. when the bolt came lose...i went flying!

DO NOT STICK A SCREWDRIVER IN THE FLYWHEEL. If you do I hope you break it and learn your lesson. If you dont have the proper tools to do this then take it to a shop and have them break it loose, like im doing in a few days.

You can get a crank pulley holder at a parts store where it holds your crank pulley in place and use your breaker bar with the correct socket to loosen your crank pulley bolt.
