Hey do you think this will be able to work in my eg? with usin the technique from your DIY with 94-01 maplight?

So would this involve soldering? like in the 94-01 type?

I would recommend soldering all connections, but not required. Can you use female spade connectors for inside the plug? If not, cut the plug off and extend those wires. Ground the black wire to the visor screw. Extend the red wire to the power wire running along the a-pillar.

So in your DIY...green was the ground?..and the red with female was the power?

Yeah, I used green cuz I didn't have black wire.

Ten-four captain. Well I guess I will plug in that white clip...then like you said run the black to visor screw and then the power along the a-pillar and go from there...thanks man!

Hey, the other plug, the wires are black and white/blue? Perfect. Plug that into the map light plug. Black, obviously ground and white/blue connects to the other white/blue in the a-pillar.

Yes they are as you said. So I connect plug...lead the black wire with some more black wire to visor screw with ring terminal crimped on end...ring terminal is those circular things right? That come in the combo packages of male and female connectors. Then just splice the white blue along the a-pillar...attatch the white blue form maplight to the one in a-pillar...and thats it? No messin' with fuses or nothing?

Yes. But I'd remove the interior light fuse or remove the negative terminal from the battery, otherwise you will pop it.
