HID...where to plug in the red/black wire?

Default HID...where to plug in the red/black wire?

Ive asked in the Lighting forum with no luck.

the stock wiring harness looks like so..(left, top, right)

do i wire the red wire in the top and the black wire to the right side? i thought that was right but when i try to turn on the headlights the bulb attemps to flicker on then shuts off.

thats an easy one. the black wire is ground. your red wire will use one of the other two one of them is low beam hot and the othe is high beam hot. your decision.. the flickering is a loose connection with debris inside it..

so was i right with the red going to the top and black wire going to the right?

also, if there is flickering caused by debris, would it not just continue to flicker? mine just turns off completely after flickering a few times.

^^ mine did the same thing, you may have a bad light bulb,or ballast.
mine was a light bulb

look at the connector from the vehicles harness. there will be a black wire. thats ur ground.. and if you did do it correctly and it flickers then it sounds like a balast or bulb

no, i just pluged mine in and was done, no wiring neccasry.
your wiring sounds fine to me, id send it back.
get your money back and then call 832 428 3669 ask for pat, he is operatic on here, i have his kit, with 1 issue in almost a year (bulb stopped working) and he said hes going to send me a new one, good price to.
