Default Mini me d16y7 block y8 head ECU smog question.

Ok so i need to pass smog soon here and i been using a p28 ECU with harness. Now will the car run ok with a P2E ECU run ok just to go to the smog station and pass? I hear the injector sizes are different in the Y7 and Y8 but would that make a world of difference?

Anyone? a DX ECU would be set for lower injectors (if DX injectors are in fact lower) with EX injectors. would the car run like crap?

Unless the smog tech is not paying any attention, you'll probably fail because of the mini me.

My car is stock and every time I've gone in for a smog, the techs check everything.

If you try and run the DX ecu with the y8(vtec head) it will run like **** and im pretty sure the tech will notice since its pretty obvious. You will need the ex ecu for vtec to run correctly and you will need to swap the injectors out for the 240cc being that those are the correct injectors for the vtec head.
