Absolutely nothing.

Leave it stock or turbo it.

D series (or any 4 cylinder for that matter) respond shitty to bolt-ons.

You pay 200 for a DC Sports header, 250 for a cold air intake, 300 on a cam, and 400 on a cat-back exhaust, and you just spent 1150 bones for not <25whp..? (and that's not even including the money to tune) It's not worth it, so either turbocharge it, or leave it stock. Other than that the only thing I could recommend is changing the pistons to up the compression. You could try going with a more aggressive cam but the whole purpose of a cam is to get MORE fuel into your cylinders..so iono how that'd help you retain your gas mileage, not to mention you'd still need 2 hours of tuning + a tunable ECU which means if you got the cam for 300, 100 for the ECU, 100 for the conversion kit (since they're all OBD-I), and 100 for the tune, ~600 for 10whp isn't worth it IMO.

Boost or stock.

^That pretty much sums it up.

There are always motor swaps, but I get the vibe that you want to get as much out of it for as little as possible...so I'll recommend to leave it stock

Keep the motor stock so the value of the car can stay level. If anything do some suspension and exterior ****. Nice coilovers and rims will never do any harm.

Well they will and they won't.

Lowering springs generally have tougher spring rates, it's a bit harsher of a ride believe it or not.

As far as rim goes, aftermarket rims usually don't have as much structural integrity as a standard black steelie - so they bend easier. Also, more eye candy = more of a theft risk and more money if it does indeed get jacked.

So if you're covering 100 miles a day I'd stick to the stock rims.

yeah unless you plan on spending hours in a garage while swapping in a new motor (which would most likely cause less gas milage) i would suggest like everyone else did and keep it stock..

if you are looking to do work i would definately upgrade the suspension make cornering a lil more fun you know what i mean? and just make the car look amazing

best thing you can do now is suspension work, dont cheap out. Throw on some 15 inch wheels of your choice. Try to stay away from the rice look. I'd probably throw on some 99-00 si's with good quality tires.

doesn't necessary have to from ebay or cheap. i've seen some expensive parts gone bad on cars that have gone wrong, and they were riced out. it can also consist of stickers on the wrong cars as well.

example:
toyota's with neuspeed stickers.
honda's with gtr emblem.

they are out there, we all have seen them one time or another.
