please post dyno sheets of stock muffler vs free-flowing muffler
Curious as to just how much power is lost with a stock muffler (i.e. itr) compared to something straight thru or just better flowing. What I'm after is near stock sound (turbo-whine is ok) for my mild turbo project with 5-6 lbs boost. All WG and BOV will be re-routed for minimal noise. An hour of searching has come up with useless repeated answers like "Why turbo if you want to be quiet?". So If that's your response please keep it to yourself and thanks anyways but I'm looking for someone that's actually tried it. The Idea here is a sleeper (duh). thanks
A 2.5" or 3" can be relatively nonrestrictive and quiet with a cat, resonator and quality muffler.Mine is very stealthy under 5k rpm.
I'm shooting for 225-250 hp which I believe my existing 2.5" can support. Like I said, this is a mild project, just looking to spice up my drive to and from work, while retaining stock sound. stealth is what it's all about
