greddy 18g wastegate
hi i have 18g greddy kit.... just wonder where you are suppose to connect the internal wastegate actuator hose to??? is it to any vacuum source??? also how do you guys connect the computer to ecu??? i know you can backprobe it but i dont really wanna cut or peel off rubbers from the wires thats going to ecu....

also what do you guys do with the hose that connects to the intake from valve cover... just leave it off? or get a breather???

umm i connected mine to a t fitting. what i did was i t'd off the line going from the BOV to the intake mani and ran the wastegate to that same vac source. worked for me. i never found a nipple on the compressor housing that's why. lol.

hook the wastegate vac line up to the compressor housing if theres a nipple, otherwise any solid vac source will do...as for the "backprobing of the ECU"....you're on your own there. It does sound like fun

Yes, connect the wastegate to any vacuum source.

You really need to get a copy of the installation instructions for that. Connecting the blue box to the ecu requires cutting into the stock harness. It's not plug and play.

It's suppose to go to the intake pipe before the turbo. I have a breather on mine, but I also have a catch can and no PCV.

Plus, if you really don't want to cut the stock wiring harness, an extention can be bought for about $50. You can hack it all up and put it back stock whenever you want just by unplugging it.

i was thinking about buying the electro connector but i hate using those because doesnt seem like it get good current through it...... and i am really not going to cut my ecu wire.... maybe ill peel the rubber off and tape them but prob wont cut them..... dammit
