Amp wiring turn on led
The wire you want to use should show a +12v when the key is in the accessory (on) position and 0v when it's out.
This wire is usually the blue/white wire (like the others said) , can also be the acessory wire. It's best to just take a meter and double check. You can use as small a guage as you want for the wire as well, becuase it's a low current signal.
Good Luck!

i know that the power antenna usually turns on only when u listen to radio, but i listen to mp3 cd on mine as well, will that turn on the amp???
i found the accesories wire, should i use that one instead???
also the guy replaced the power antenna to a rubbber one, so there is no power antenna...

the acessory wire was prob hooked up to your power ant wire before anyways. if you hook it up, before putting the deck back in the dash, turn on the key and double check if it turns on the amp.
the honda factory decks and some others i know keep the ant up even if your listening to cd
coles notes: accessory should be fine

since you have MP3 capability .. Im assuming you have an aftermarket deck and that it has a remote turn on lead for the amps.. on my Alpine unit its blue/white.. could be blue on other decks... you can hook it up to the accessory wire.. just use a multimeter and test which wire has voltage when you turn your key to on.. and cuts off power when your key is off...
