hey guys i was thinkin bout freshening up my 94 teg. ls motor with all bearings and new pistons rings how hard is it to do and does any one have a write up on it, i searched and didint find to much helpful info thanks guys

 

if you need to ask, let an engine builder handle it. there are precise measurements and clearances that must be met.

You can Get a Haynes manual for about $30 bucks.

This manual will show you how to do a complete engine over haul, every detail, all the specifications...as Long as you have the tools, and can read you can do it

While your doing it id also do the water pump, timing belt, tensioner,,, your gonna have to take the head off so a new head gasket, id get cam seals also

a haynes is crap compared to helms

 

reading it and doing it is 2 different things.
