need some advice about the R
hey guys i am new to this game i am taking a engine class and i want to rebuild my type r it has about 100 K on it i have about 1 g to spend on it so wanna refresh my motor so what should i do rings and bearings and wat els or wat brands tnx

Not a bad idea, these motors are a lot more precise and high revving than your run-0'-the mill motor and were built blueprinted and need to be overhauled the same way. OP you will need help from your teacher on this one. Not exactly a noob project.

Looks good. All I can add to that is, when in doubt just apply alot of Hondabond.

I prefer the original Duck Tape brand myself
If you're just doing a refresh and not building a monster motoR than stick with OEM Honda and Sons Acura
