Does it matter if the head is from an auto or manual car? The head I am looking at is a P2J2 and I want to make sure it works. I know you can't use the IM (without modifying it) or ECU from an auto for a manual. I already have these for a manual, but need to know if the head matters.

The sensors on the intake manifold and on the back of the head vary between auto an manual versions.

 

****, I have a 96-98 (I think 97 manual IM) and believe I have all the sensors (never really looked because I am still buying the parts). Can I swap those sensors out and make it work? What should I be looking for when I ask the seller a question about the sensor to see if it will work?

No there is no difference in the heads on the intake manifold but im pretty sure you can use the intake manifold just one of the sensor is not needed.
