Default gsr into A EM1

ok dropped gsr in and not ive run into this into a 00 SI motor is obd2

giveing the car gas it boggs out.

parts used Si harness Si computer, used jumper with obd1 gsr comp samething

cars running hella rich plugs were black as hell

it does not back fire at all idles smooth as you roll on the throttle it bogs and will not rev past 2.5k rpm.\

any ideas hit me up

swap dizzy gsr to Si on problem still there \

cam timing is dead on

only thing i can think is compression. but the thing idles so smooth im not leaning towards that.

has a skunk2 inake mani and 65mm thottle body.
sprayed carb cleaner around to find any vacuum leaks no change in idle, spray into throttle bore stalls out.

thinking it might be a blockage in the fuel return line to the tank

used Si regulator and gsr regulator same problem

does 99-00 teg injectors used a resistor box?

get at me

No all the Tegs/Civics 94-up didn't use a resistor box so you're OK on that. The car wouldn't even start if you're impedance was too low as the injectors wouldn't fire.

Have you calibrated the TPS on the 65mm t/b? And are you positive there's no internal vacuum leak say from the IACV to the inside of the throttle body bore? Some manifolds only have a very thin wall seperating the IACV passage from the main throttle bore.

well the throttle body is a edle brock so i did nothing to it honestly cuz they come with all new sensors.

i spray carb cleaner around the thottle body intake mani and no change in idle at all, sprayed into thottle bore and she stalls out.

this issue has taken most of the swap time up so im kinda pissed

Are you able to borrow another ecu or anything? Perhaps toss on an OBD1 conversion with a P72 and see what happens. Or try an OBD2B P72 also...if they're available.

Might be time to get a milti-meter and a shop manual, start testing the sensor outputs on that new engine and see of they're all working right. I know sometimes people complain of broken sensors on swaps they get.

Wish I could say for certain, but I've had rich-running condition from bad O2 sensors in the past. Doesn't explain the bogging and stalling above 2.5K though...

haha, I know others have been tricked by those 2 connectors also...never happened to me so I wasn't familiar with the symptoms. Glad you are ripping up the road again. How is it compared to the old B16?
