lowering springs/rear LCA bolt help

Default lowering springs/rear LCA bolt help

i'm installing my lowering springs and im having trouble getting the bolt out that holds the damper fork to the LCA. i know this is a problematic bolt and usually freezes up, but my question is; is the bolt threaded inside the bearing that''s inside the LCA bushing? or should it just hammer out? i already broke the tack welds on the nut and all its doing is spinning inside the LCA. ill probably wind up getting new LCA's but i need to get this damn bolt out.

it happened to me once..what i did was i bang it out really hard and damaged the bushing..and had to buy a new bushing from honda and the bolt too..and had a shop to press the bushing back in the LCA. the money i spent on oem parts (had to pay second day shipping cause it is my DD..cant afford the down time) were almost as close to buy a nice set of aftermarket LCA ($99).

It is not threaded into the bushing. It should not be stuck to the bushing, but most are due to rust. New LCAs is probably your best solution.

it was stuck in the bushing because it was bent
