my trans wont go to reverse and drive. just went out while driving.. fluid level is good and no burned smell or anything.. want to know if you guys know anything about this problem.. or a cheap place to get a transmission..

 

I don't know if these things have a filter or not but if so you might want to check it but the first place to look for any thing like used check here http://www.car-part.com its a list of parts from salvage yards all over the USA and you probably can get it cheap but be careful when buying a transmission from there or motor. Make sure to get the VIN off the car so the people at the salvage yards are being truthful about the mileage. Hope this helps and good luck!
