hey guys i have an automatic da and sometimes when its cold outside it takes a few minutes to go into park. my freind has an auto da that does the same thing. any way to fix this besides just getting the 5 speed that i should have anyways? thanks.

 

i dont know much about auto trannies but my first guess would be tranny fluid

 

just checked fluids and they are fine but thanks for the idea

 

its a solenoid at the shifter that locks the car into park. look at http://www.g2ic.com it is a common problem.
