Some questions about Cylinder Head removal and arp headstuds..
I'm about to remove cylinder head. and yes, i have HELMS
1. Any tips on dealing with side engine mount?? Can one person handle it??
2. Any tips on removal of ARP headstuds? like what tool to use? Size? etc
3. I wasn't planning on removing intake manifold, will it be too much stress for threads/bolts if i'm to lift it like that? don't want anything to snap or get damaged.
4. do i really need to remove all timing belt covers, loosen up crank pulley etc vs sliding gears out the way as shown in here

thanks

1. ive never dealt with side engine mount when removing the head so i have no idea wtf youre talking about
2. arp are 12 point 1/2" use that and a socket wrench with a breaker bar
3. it will be pefectly fine
4. thats too much work for me. i just loosen cam cap bolts and let the belt fall off

if your replacing the timing belt you have to take off the mount to put the new one on. just put a jack under the car to hold up the engine, its super easy.
yes you should take off the crank pulley in order to correctly line up and tension the timing belt. this also means taking off the covers. takes time, but its worth it.
i took the manifold off to take out the head, but installed it on the new head before putting it on the block.
most of my ARP studs came loose easily. but you could always "lock" two nuts together and take them out that way.
