Default Weird Idling issue

Well when you are driving at any speed and you push the clutch your rpms are suppose to drop to your regular idle right? Well when I push the clutch in my idle drops to about 1500 until I come to a complete stop, then it drops down to the regular idle. Im at lost at what could cause this. Anyone have any ideas?

I believe this is a normal attribute for this car. The ecu keeps the revs up slightly to increase the vacuum in the manifold- this in turn helps the brake booster maximize pedal effort while the throttle is fully closed. If the idle were allowed to drop to 750 rpm your brakes wouldn't work quite as well. The VSS signal is monitored to tell the ecu the car is still moving. My Itr does this as well as the others I have driven.
