if its full coilovers you dont need anything from the original assembly so you dont need a spring compressor. take teh assembly out put the new one in.

As long as your kit came assembled then yes. If you ordered a new kit I doubt the coil sleeves are assembled. If not, then a spring compressor will be required. You should get it anyway. It makes taking the oem springs off much easier.
