hey i got an 86 honda prelude 2.0 fuel injected and it wont start, the fuel pump went and then i changed it and it wont start all it does is turn over and the first time i turn it over it will start and rev up to about 2000rpm and then quit then it will just turn over i heard it cud be a bad battery feed to the injectors but im not sure got any info for me? --

 

Is the fuel pump getting power? If so, next thing to check might be fuel pressure. That's a start at least.

 

yeah the fuel pump is gettin power and i checked im getting gas all the way up to the injectors.....im just not sure what the hell to do anymore. i checked to see if a sensor was blinking but i could not see anything so im not sure.

 

how much pressure are you showing going into the fuel rail?

hook up a pressure guage to it. I've seen some write ups about that on here and Preludepower.com has a few to.

 

DID YOU CHECK YOUR INJECTORS? JUST MAKE SURE THEY ARE TAPPING.

 

im not sure what u mean by tapping ??? and if i take off the intake and squirt gas into there it will run but soon as i stop squirtin gas in there it dies, im thinking its a bad battery feed to the injectors so if u got any info on the wiring you shud let me know.....thanx
