i.d.k. what i did from last year to this year, but somewhere my car lost 100 lbs and we ran with more fuel than normal. i know it didnt come off of my belly. we were 2650 last year, and saturday at MIR i was 2540.

he hee. j/k out came all the hvac stuff, power steering stuff, lighter battery, and my 3 piece bogarts are about 30% lighter than the 2 pieces from last year.

In all seriousness, It depends on what your rule boolk will let you get rid of for your class. What class are you going to run?

wheels and tires!! you can shed a lot of weight by wheels alone.

dropping the exhaust and taking out the sunroof assembly can save you a good amount of weight as well.

There's quite a bit of thread on the subject of weight.

bumper supports, sound deadening material, lighter battery, rear interior(depending on class), wheels, as stated earlier, all the extra crap you carry in the car, take a pre-game dump, if its not a spo-comp car, lexan windows, gutted doors, etc

The axle shafts we currently make fit OEM GSR CV joints (stock dimentions). i wouldnt rate them much higher than OEM. The material is about 10% stronger than the oem shaft. The end snot and the tri-pod tend to be the weaker areas.

There are many factors that cause axle breakage, some people snap stock axles with 250 hp and others have no trouble with 400 hp. Putting an accurate HP rating on them would depend on many factors.
