everything went together fine, got the car finished went to take it for a test drive. shifts perfectly on with the motor off, refuses to go into gear with it on, so of course i think the clutch isnt disegaging, so i bleed the clutch, find out the master cylinder is leaking, replace that, bleed them 5 or 6 times. still doesnt help. then i swap the slave cylinder. STILL NO SHIFTS!

only thing i can think of is, as i tightened the pressure plate, the fingers on it sunk towards the flywheel about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch. there no play in the clutch release fork with my foot off the clutch and it travels about 1 1/2 inches in the stroke.

im really frustrated since im doing this as a favour to some girl, im about ready to **** myself im so mad.

You may need to adjust the clutch pedal down a little. I ran into that problem with a '03 Accord once.
