How do you tighten the timing belt on a d16z6.
Mine is loose and the belt is hittin the lower plastic cover so how would i go about and tighten it or should i get a new timing belt?

30-40k miles on the motor

 

tighten it by the timing belt tensioner. turn it clockwise like a bolt to tighten it

 

loosen the the tensioner and turn the motor over by hand w/ a 19mm wrench (turn the motor clockwise)...it can only get so tight by doing it that way. then just tighten the tensioner back to 33ft-lbs (i think...check in manual first)

my car just hit 100k what other stuff to i need to change out other than just the timing belt???

 

Water pump, seals and belts!!
