94-95 gsr wire harness and 2001gsr integra wire harness
Yes, there's a difference. Use the one that goes with your motor. IE. 94-95 motor use the OBD1 harness (94-95). Anything newer use the newer harness.
thank you for your help i am so stressed bout this stuff, igot one or two ques if you can help me.
i have a whole wrecked 2001 integra gsr and i want to swap into my 94 civic vx hatch.
im pretty sure i need the 94-95 p72 ecu to make it ref legal. if im gonna use that what do i need to make this swap ez and cost effective for me? thats why i asked so many ques about the wire harness.
i want this motor to be registered as a 94 or 95 gsr. any advise will greatly help me out thank you blueintegraboy.

I'm not too sure about making your swap BAR legal since I am not from CA.
You won't be able to pass the motor was 94-95 because the ref will look at the VIN plates. And it is ok to 'register' it as an 01.
Just use the engine and harness from the 01, the exhaust manifold, and the 2 O2 sensors. I believe you need to run a 96-01 ECU (need conversion harness) due to having two O2 sensors.
Then again, we don't have to BAR in Hawaii, but it seems logical to have all the components swapped over.

i heard that 99-01 gsr are hard to swap cuz of those issues ( extra sensors). but hey thanks for all of your advise, ill take everything into consideration, i would im you but im still a newbie.
u have to keep cars n swaps the same obd year if you get what im saying...obd1 car needs obd1 motor. if you want your swap bar'd then get an obd2 car such as an EK
i don't know about the bar stuff, but to swap the motor you only have to swap a couple wires on one shock tower.
the swap goes right in, you just need an obd1 ecu, there's a write up for this in the faq's on the first page.
now to make it pass bar in california, i have no idea.
