im pretty sure that ur gonna have to notch the block for the eagle rods. there alot thicker than stock rods so i wouldnt be suprised if you did have to notch nething. whats the big deal anyway? ur not notching a moving assembly ur nothing a casing. im sure if u take it to a machine shop which u should do anyway cause the entire assembly should be balanced to prevent premature bearing failure, there going to tell u that they have to notch the case out a little bit due to the larger rods.
well i dont wana have to send out anything to a machine shop cus that is the only car i have to drive. then i wont have a way to get to work. well i wana turbo my car and use it as a daily driver so wat shuld i do wit the bottom end???? do i need them rods? the max i wana boost is like 10psi
no dude...you can do that on stock internals..my buddy ran 8-10 psi (not sure what it was) on stock d15...just make sure you get a good tuning and you'll be fine.
kool thanx.... i already got all new internals in the head so thats ready for turbo. i got crower stage2 camshaft, skunk2 camgear, crower springs and ti retainers, and supertech valves
thats good - i was going to mention you should do the head if anything..but yea the bottom end on stock internals will be good UP TO 230whp with a good tune. gl bro

not sure if you can push the stock **** that far...when my friend had his, the dude who tuned it said that 230whp is perfect for stock and that 250 would be pushing it. just save a little bit longer if anything..buy a d series block..get all the **** done to the block while you drive your dd..and then when you're ready make a weekend or 4 day weekend out of putting everything together.
your going to need to notch your block and depending on the hardware you get (at least with the TT rods) you have to notch the main caps and tho bottom of the piston wall.
TTs are kick *** if you dont want to spend EAGLE $$

I've heard that you don't have to notch the block if you go with a set of I beam rods....but i don't know from experience since i had eagle H beams.
It really isn't hard to notch the block, and you don't HAVE to send it to a machine shop to have it done. In my opinion the extra work is worth it, because D series rods are TINY
