I just run a -6 all the way through. No problems with my system. I run an Aeromotive A1000 pump with an A1000 regulator that is -10 in and -6 out. I ran the return all the way back to the tank.

I have the adapter, my question was if the hole inside of the -6 opening the same as a -8 or do i have to ream it? it looks like a small hole maybe a 1/8'' hole, should i open it up to a 1/4'' to take advantage of the -8.

lol, p/n 13101. Im not talking about the threaded part, if you turn the reg upside down if you look inside the -6 port you will see the hole that the fuel come out of, that hole looks like maybe 1/4". I was asking if i should open that up. I may have found another alternative from extremevtecracing I'll find out tomorrow. My thing was maybe bigger line bigger hole lol.

No porting needed, Just get a -6 to -8 adapter and run your -8 line back to the tank.

Aeromotive does not recommend porting the hole. It would not seal properly. This is what I was told by Aeromotive....

A -6 line will easily flow 800 lb/hr before it becomes restictive. If you're bypassing more than that, I'd recommend a different valve with a larger bypass orifice so you don't experience pressure creep.

Just -6 it all the way through you should be cool. Use the fittings we talked about last night and you should be golden.
