eagle rods/ je pistons
im currently running a b18c1 with bolt-ons and all stock internals. im debating buying a kit with eagle rods and je pistons( as well as all other stuff needed to install). im just wondering if anybody knows what kind of power gains could be expected if i installed this? and is it worth the money overall? thanks
thats exactly what i am running as we speak...je 12:5 CR on eagle rods...JE is a very reliable brand used by nascar, but the only thing i dont like about them is that they are really loud. I hear them going up and down even with a valve lash and good reputable tune. They are just plain loud compared to my buddies endyn's which are really quite!
pistons alone arent going to give you a lot of hp. increasing compression with big cams is what makes the power.

sounds like your piston to wall clearances are too loose
