2 problems in one day ..
First was diagnosed as VSS .. Now coming home from diagnosing that problem my radio starts getting all haunted and my lights start to dim as well as my rpm needle going crazy .. Pretty much all my electronic **** was going haywire .. I turned my lights off, radio off, wipers off (was raining) and power started coming back to the motor .. Any idea if this could be the alternator orrrr ??? Any help is appreciated .

pretty sure it says code because you lost power and now you require the security code to enable it again.
Definitely sounds like your alternator took a ****.
Go get a new one

Okay so I got a new alternator .. But it's from an OBD1 and my car is wired for OBD2, So we cut the OBD2 connector off and wired up the OBD1 connector so we can plug it into the new alternator .. We charged the battery up for like 30 minutes just to see what we can get out of it and then connected it back up and started the car .. The car started and ran on its own but when I turned the AC or any electronics on the car pretty much fell on its *** .. WHAT THE expletive ?

Grounds are alright .. Ugh wtf this is pissing me off . I don't get it, When I turn on the AC or something the RPM needle goes wacky and the car shuts down .
check the large wire that goes into the fuse box under the hood. (the one that should T off of the power wire that goes from the battery to the starter. that wire basicly powers the entire car.)
Ill give that one a looksie tomorrow .. The first thing the car did on the highway was loose all power from the electric ****, the alternator started whining and then it was just dead .. I don't get what else the problem may be ?? We put the new alternator in and there wasnt a whining noise so apparently the alternator was defiantly shot .. But now we take the external (battery charger/battery jumper box) off the car and it runs until I turn on any electrical components ......
VSS doesnt seem to be the problem with the speedometer, the only thing I did was take the gauge cluster out to paint the needles out of boredom . I replaced the VSS thinking it would be the problem and the speedometer still doesn't work .. The last thing I saw was a little flash like a fuse blowing behind the cluster and then the speedo drop .. Any advice on this one ? ******* honda
It was also raining hard when this happened (the speedo problem), I read if rain gets in the VSS or something it'll short out .. ??

You don't need a code, trust me on that.
It bullshits you on every 5th and 6th generation Honda. Just keep tying numbers, and pressing the on/off button - it'll override the code.
I don't know why, but for some reason if you just type lots of random numbers and keep turning the radio on and off you can get it to turn on. No, I don't know why this ownz it's "security" - but it's worked on every Honda that's gave me that "code" bullshit.
I once gave a **** and called the dealership and they gave me the code - but after that I realized that if you just expletive with the radio you can get it to turn on without entering the code...so just do that.

Gotta get the car running right first
Radio is an OEM S2000 CD player if that matters with the whole code thing, I believe I have the code on the top of the unit
