My Car's Lights and RPM gauges going Crazy
My car when it idles the lights are very dim. I had to push start the car after lettig it for for a few minutes. When i start to drive it the lights go bright dim bright dim etc. Also the RPms and speedo goes crazy. Also my gas mileage was going down pretty bad while i was driving. Would this be a battery or alternator problem.

if your car is stock and you didn't really do anything to the car. it might be an alternator? as for the speedo and the tach going all crazy, sounds like a loose connection... so check your grounds like B18C1EM1 said.

happened to me before too. When ur alternator goes out, ur car runs off straight battery power, when that runs out ur stuff goes crazy like u said. Change out that alternator b4 you damage your batt.
