EGR Valve... Do I need it?
theres no emissions where I live, I have an H22 project in an EG, the EG wiring harness doesn;t have the EGR plug in, and im running an OBD1 P13
would wiring in the EGR make my car run better, or is it strictly for emmisions?

you might get slightly better gas mileage, but it will not impact performance directly other than making your intake manifold a little dirty over time

The P13 will throw a code without the EGR crap hooked up, but that's about it. If you don't mind a CEL then don't bother with it. You can always go to a chipped P28/30/72 with a H22 basemap later to get rid of the CEL.
