Euro-r h22 into EG - wiring question - opinions required
I'm about to dump an '00 euro-r motor into my 92 eg hatch, and I'm just starting to panic about wiring.
I'm not quite sure whats the easier/better approach to running this motor. Whilst I understand that given my location and the motor in question, few of you will have any direct experience in this type of conversion, I'm simply after opinion.
Clearly the euro-r motor is obd2b, and my eg is obd1.
Both the donor accord and the eg are right hand drive (I live in New Zealand), so I can use either engine wiring harness, whichever is easier.
My eg is currently rocking a sohc non vtec d15.
Am I going to have an easier time converting the whole car to OBD2 and rocking the euro-r ecu, or converting the motor to obd1 (maybe using a '92 prelude harness?) and running a p30 or chipped p28 or something else?

Re: Euro-r h22 into EG - wiring question - opinions required (EG6-SiR)
u should stay obd1 since u don't have emissions to worry about. You will have to modify your existing civic wiring harness to fit the H22 engine. You will not beable to use a prelude harness becuase it is totaly different. Use an OBD1 P13 ecu from the prelude, or if ur gonna do some tuning, then use a P28 or something. Read the FAQ at the top of this forum and u will get an idea of what kind of wiring you will need to do.
