shaking streering wheel

Default shaking streering wheel

had a blowout on the freeway the other day and i put on a used tire and now when i get to higher speeds it feels very unsteady and the steering wheel shakes.. any ideas?... maybe bent rim?

Was the cause of blowout due to a pothole? How long did you run on it before you came to a stop? If there wasn't too much of a violent impact, I'd probably look more towards improper balancing, or the tire being out of round.

did you tighten up the lugs to the factory spec (80 ft/lbs most likely)? If not, it could be because your tire isn't on securly. Just a thought..
