check engine light?
Okay so I can't figure this out really, my check engine light comes on only during the day, but at night it never comes on. And when it's on the VTEC won't engage. Does anyone know what would cause this, or ever heard of this problem at all?

The code is what's making your VTEC not work.

Even the OBD0 cars had the small jumper that made the dash light blink.

Actually no they did not (maybe some) at least not most. Why would the ECU need a red light if there was a jumper to make the dash light blink? The jumper was pretty much an OBD 1 feature for the most part.

There is a jumper under the dash on the passenger side on the bottom right corner under the glove box, put a wire on each side of that and count the blinks on the led on the ecu. Like said before, I dont know of any obd 0s that the dash light blinked on. Also I dont think the non obds have the 10's blink, just ones.

Ok first off on the matter of the check engine codes just go to google type in "honda check engine codes" save them to your computer for future reffrence
And on the matter of the obdo jumper wire both arguee and arguer could be right my friend had a 91 integra that was obd1 it was a car manufactured late in that year so I have seen a obdo car that was factory obd1 if that makes sense

2: #2 Oxygen sensor
3: MAP sensor
6: Water temp. sensor
That is, if you're reading the codes right. There is a difference in the blinks: a long blink=10, a short blink =1.

is it possible that these could be wired wrong on the swap. because it looks like they made there own harness. I've never messed with an engine swap. or is it possible that these sensors need to be replace. cuz when i bought the car apparently the swap had been recent. and it was someone else's project, and unfortunately i know that means that it's my mess now.. but the car drove solid when i test drove it... but now it drives like ****. hesitates... fuel mixture is lean or rich.... just absolutely horrible...
