Default NEED EF HELP ASAP!!!!

I have a 91 hatch with a d16a6 i have done a 5spd swap and mpfi swap... they both were done with NO problems.. i did the mpfi swap with obd1 injectors and worked fine. but now to get to the point I was driving this morning and all was good i got bout 3 miles away from my house and the car started actin like it wasnt gettin fuel(i have half a tank)!!! i would press the gas and it would like bog out and not go any where it also back fired once or twice then it jus stalled. i tried turning it on and it will crank but wont start. it started a couple times butonly for a sec and if i tried to touch the gas pedal it would cut off. i have checked all wiring, timing, and changer fuel filter!!! anyone have any other ideas???

Any CELs?

Why would you use OBD1 injectors on an OBD0 motor? Did you have to cut up the harness to do that?

Usually when it bogs out and you lose power it can be the timing but usually it will still stay running unless it has slipped a tooth or two. If the timing checks out then I would next go into the dizzy. The problem you describe sounds similar to when the shaft/rotor on my dizzy went out but it was accompanied by a loud squeal.

You said that you replaced the rotor, well I suggest you pop the dizzy back open and see if there is an orange/red dust covering it. I would also check the other components within the dizzy such as the coil and ignitor to diagnose your problem better.

The other possibility is the main relay but in general won't cause bogging problems just the no start.

Fuel, Spark, Compression...
