because of this thread and my flat dc header i decided to order one of these headers from the same company. when i received the header i noticed that parts of the runners were showing inside the head flange.
about this much ==> I_I
not much but enough to effect the performance ,so i ported the runners to match the flange. after getting them perfect and sanding them down till they were perfectly smooth, i decided compare the exhaust and header ports for over hangs. after tracing them out i could see a little extra meat on the header side so i went back the grinding and sanding till they were a perfect match. ill be taking it to the dyno when i get it done ,following a write up.
70 bucks for a header and 6 hours of work ,if it makes more power than the dc i think that makes it a great investment. buts its only 70 bucks what do i have to lose

I wouldn't expect much, if any improvements over the stock exhaust manifold. Perhaps +1WHP

seriously, now instead of the write up being on the first page, dumbasses like me are going to come in here and post ****, and the review will be buried on page eight somewhere.

 

way too many people trust the opinions of people on honda-tech concerning ebay and other site's products. after slight modification most headers can produce a few extra hp if you just match the ports. you can do this to the higher end headers too , ive seen 2-3 hp just from port matching. when your going N/a every gain in hp is a blessing so why not take a few hours to do some light work?
btw this header is almost a perfect replica of the dc .
