ignition timing, advance all the way, need input please,
right h-t, so i finally get around to check out my ignition timing today, to my suprise it was set at 0degree's,
i get the timing gun out, bypass the jumper, advance the distrubutor, but the problem is im still about 5-10 degree's out from where i should be at 16d with the dist advanced all the way,
basically its stll inbetween 0-14 degree's
what do i do next?!
thanks H-T...

Are you certain you're using the timing light correctly? I seems doubtful that the timing was set at TDC. How was the car running?
Do you have the timing light with the advance?
If so set it to 16 degrees and the timing mark(white) should be lining up.
If you leave the light set to 0 degrees you should see the two red marks with a notch in the middle. It should be lined up with the notch in the middle.
If you got it right then you are off a tooth.
