i read some where before that the ls tranny and b16 tranny have the same gear ratios. but the only diffrence is the final drive.
if this is true can i swap final drives and have a b16 tranny out of my mint ls tranny

the b16 has shorter gears all around. the ls is more gas mileage oriented with longer gears. ls final drives are po pular in b16 trannys for interstate driving.

B16 tranny are way shorter then LS ones.

The B16 tranny inteands to go out after a while cause of the short gears and high rpm's that it's in.

And you'll get shity gas milage if you use a B16 tranny.
