The only electric supercharger that will actually provide any power at all, would be the Thomas Knight Electric Turbo. But, to run it takes a lot of batteries and a hardcore alternator. Even then, it only works like Nitrous, in short bursts.

Standard eBay special, so-called "Electric Turbo/Superchargers" actually cost you hp, instead of producing any. I've tried one myself, as well as many people have, and noticed the truth about these so-called "power inducers" and they're a giant fraud. Luckily I got mine for free, so the cost wasn't an issue.

There is no amount of bolt-ons that you can put on the D17 and expect to see anything more than 5-10whp. In order to see noticeable gains of power, you'll need either a Turbo, Nitrous, or a K-series engine. This has been discussed many times on this forum.

Why not... the extra upperbody work out gives you more strength to be able to peddle the car faster... right? (ya know like the Flintstones)

lol did you actually read what I wrote? haha

I suppose power steering, mechanically speaking could but a little more work on the engine since it has to drive the pump... but I can't imagine enough to really see any difference... correct me if I'm wrong but I'm just thinking out loud.

Yes the pump will sap a little of the output, but i highly doubt whether you'd notice even a slight difference with it removed.

Keep your A/C but move your evaporator to your intake box.

I've seen it dyno proven several times. With the removal of the PS belt cars gain on average 3-4whp.

We can drop a cam in our cars and see a noticeable gain? Did not know that.
Why remove power steering? that would be very annoying. I drove from Denver to Colorado springs with out any power steering and it sucks *****. Also i am keeping my AC no matter what i have to do.
