Default 1990 CX side mirror question

Hey everyone,
I bought my friend's mint condition CX recently. Anyway, as most of you know, the CX doesn't come with a right side mirror. I bought a used hatch mirror, but unfortunately it didn't come with the bolts needed to install it.
I was thinking I could take out a bolt from the driver's side mirror, but i'm having trouble taking off the plastic piece covering them, and I don't want to break it...which leads me to my question

What is the length of the bolt that I need to install my mirror? I can match up the thread and size of the bolt by taking the mirror in and finding the right now, but I don't want to get too long of a bolt.

Thanks,
Mike

Just match it to the driver's side. That triangualr plastic piece covering the nuts snaps off, just use a flathead screwdriver and pry very gently. Then, you'll just need to undo those bolts and the small one inside the handle of the adjustment arm (the end cap pops off, exposing the bolt).
