Default Bolt in side front subframe snaped - would this be safe?

Well, i was unscrewing the LCA bolt that connects to the front subframe and then i snaped the nut inside the subframe off. I really don't want to replace the entire subframe for the time being because its really cold outside. I am planning on doing it in the spring/summer. So my question is how safe would it be if i where to weld the indicated part(pic) to the subframe until the weather allows me to do the swap. Also im going to cut the bolt thats in their right now and see if could put in a slightly bigger bolt and thighten it up.

Circled part

BTW this is for my 92 hatch

All I have to say is have fun doing a front subframe on a civic on jackstands. I did mine alone on a lift and it still took me about 10 hours... I did install some poly-u bushings in the process but they weren't too time consuming. If you plan on replacing the subframe it SHOULD be safe in my opinion with the following. Drill it, tap it and just to be sure throw a spot or two on it. BTW is this the only thing muffed with the subframe? If it is I would ask your local honda dealer the thread specs on it and drill and tap it that spec. I would replace a $400 something subframe if it can be fixed. I wouldn't think just welding it would hold too well, but I figure it will be safe for the time being. DISCLAIMER: I take no responsability for your risk of death or serious injury. Have fun no matter what you decide.

Yea this is the only issue im having with the subframe. Im actually planing on welding the whole area instead of just putting a couple spot welds here and their.

Anyone else.

Well if you can weld you should be able to answer it yourself. Welding is stronger than a bolt anyday if you weld correctly.
