Broken Bolt Question??

Default Broken Bolt Question??

Hey i was recently putting a new head on my Ls Motor. and when i was torking down the bolts on the cam brackets one of them broke. It is broken like where the threads stop. So i was wondering how and the hell am i supposed to get this out? any help wth do. I was told to use an Easy-out, but i don't wanna try unless i get some varification.

drill it out. drill a small hole in the center of the bolt and then jam something in the hole after its been drilled then turn counter clock. should come out easily.

Yes, drilling it out is the easiest and most effecient method of removing a broken bolt.

whyn you drill the hole in the top, get an easy out, its basically a drill bit type thing that is threaded the opposite way so when you turn it, it chews into whats left of the screw, and hopefully starts turning it back out.
