im trying to find out if i can attach a b18 ls tranny to a 92-95 b16a. im just curious because the b18ls is non vtech and the b16a is vtech. so will that affect performance in any manner? or will i have to do something to adapt vtech to the tranny?
and to answer the question - yes you can use any B hyrdo tranny on any b series engine (non-b20a)

you spelled it correctly if you had a phone in your car
an ls tranny on your b16 is the worst thing you could do to an already gutless engine

yes it will affect performance your car will have longer gears which means slower acceleration.
