Default Ok why is this build so SLOW??!

Honda techs help me out here!

i got a b18c1 block with CTR pistons new bearings etc etc, b16 head with 2 layer spoon gasket, stock cams boooo, minor bolt on crap, i finally fixed my timing it is dead on, and i just put in a high comp basemap

finally got 800 or so miles on it so im takin it out for a lil test run

i was running chipped ecu with a p30 base with a vtec engagement of 5700 ( i know its high ididnt pick it)

now that i got this new basemap for a high comp setup basically the same as mine it doesnt feel any different! the only difference is the vtec engagement is at 5300 instead

the car feels slower then my old b16!

my buddys got a ls/vtec with ctr pistons and a gsr head running a stock p30 that pulls WAY more then what i got! and hes running stock injectors with no tune!

wtf is wrong! making me upset

edit
skunk2 intake mani, 345cc prelude injectors b16 tranny with lighten flywheel and exedy stg1 clutch with bout 3k miles on it if that matters

92 octane too!

i dont understand why my friends lsvtec with same pistons is making more power untuned with a p30 (b16) basemap though?

i'll say tune as well.

some more aggressive cams will compliment the CTR high comp. pistons better aswell.

k he has the same setup UNTUNED just ls vtec and its way faster for some reason with smaller injectors

2nd its not a ebay chip i messaged one of the crome tuners on here and had him send me a basemap specially for my setup.....i know its not gonna make the biggest difference but i was hoping for a change and the car feels exactly the same when i had the p30 chip in my ecu

i was thinkin bout running ctr cams in it

so a good tune will do the trick? light and day? like i said my car feels slower then my old b16

no two engines perform the same with the same mods.

Little things like variance in casting during the production process all the way to engine wear will affect how the engine runs.

and yes a tune will make her run much better, not only more efficiently but to her full potential.

A food tune is just as individual as the engine it'sself.

yeah i guess im just one of the unfortunant ones lol

well i just called the tuner i got the basemap from at J-K tuning in PA

he says its just a stock GSR basemap set to run 345cc injectors and ignition timing pulled (im assuming retarded) for the high comp

im assuming thats why its running the same as my p30(b16) basemap i had going

least im getting decent mileage in that thing lol
