If I were me I'd run 2.25" piping, although 2.5 would be ok. Anything bigger wouldn't be good. My personal favorite is the Greddy Evo II muffler.

I think you would be alright with either size.

No, the stock piping isn't 2.25". 2.25" you'll be fine, and with 2.5" you'll be fine. It's all preference.

GSR stock exhaust is smaller than 2.25". A lot of people go with this size when going NA.

well if you are boosting it soon, you might just want to go with the 2.5 because you will be in need of a bigger pipe soon anyway

Actually...if you are planning on boosting soon in the near future I'd just wait on the exhaust. Because I would go with 3" for boost. Otherise if you plan on staying NA for quite a while just get 2.25 or 2.5 and get a nice sounding muffler. I like the Greddy Evo II like I stated before

In terms of mufflers, and without enough on your car to make backpressure too critical, I would think the only thing you're really concerned about now would be the sound of the exhaust, right?

If so, click the link in my sig. It goes to the Official Exhaust Notes Thread, where people go to figure out what different exhausts sound like.

personally, when I want to know what an exhaust sounds like I go to youtube. everyone posts their car with a new exhaust and you can hear just about anything.

That's what a lot of the links go to, and more (streetfire, etc.). It's just a compilation of exhaust note videos that have been found to help the average H-Ter find what they're looking for.
