Well was cleaning up the storage and found a ZC cam that I remember I got from a sohc civic from pick-n-pull. Had it stored, forgot about it, and now its rusted. I sprayed some wd-40, just to see what it would do. Just want to know if it is still fixable and usable? Here are some pics.

 

Sand off the rust with some 1000 grit and you should be good to go.

 

try just rubbing some off or sand very carefully thats not a surface you want out of round

 

so if I sand it, jus try to get as much out as possible?

 

My guess is that it is just a light surface rust and will only take a little bit of sanding to get it off. Just use 1000 grit and you will be fine.

 

just be careful and make sure to keep circling and not stay in one spot

 

my skunk2 cams were sitting for 3months started to rust i spray'd WD40 wiped it off and sanded it down with fine sandpaper
